When you choose a 2019 RAM 1500, you can choose between three different engines which offer different specs and capabilities. However, each engine is equipped with a Class-Exclusive TorqueFlite® 8-speed automatic transmission. Here’s how the specs stack up for each RAM engine:

  • 3.6L Pentastar® V6 Engine with eTorque—creates 205 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. Max towing capacity is 7,730 pounds.
  • 5.7L HEMI® V8 Engine—creates 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. Max towing capacity of 11,610 pounds.
  • 5.7L HEMI® Engine with eTorque—creates the same hp and torque as above, but can tow up to 12,750 pounds.
